Six Sections
Master/Expert; Class A; Class B; Class C; Class D; Class E and below; you must have a rating to play in this tournament. Also, you cannot play up (unless unpublished rating is in the next class). In that case, contact us at msca.board@gmail.com
What is my class?
Masters/Experts: 2000 or above
Class A: 1800-1999
Class B: 1600-1799
Class C: 1400-1599
Class D: 1200-1399
Class E and Below: 1199 or below

Title & Trophy to top Master/Expert
1st Place $200
2nd Place $150
3rd Place $120
Top Expert $100
Top player from Master/Expert section will qualify for one spot each in the 2020 MSCA Closed Championship!
In the event of a tie there will be a playoff, with the format to be determined by the TD based on the number of players. There will only be one qualifier Closed Championship.
Master/Expert Section Entry Fee $60 by 11/18/, $70 by 11/22/2019, or $80 onsite.

Trophies for top U800 and U600 players in E and Below.
In the event of a tie there will be a playoff, using the Official MSCA Tiebreaker. There will only be one qualifier for the Closed Championship.

5 Round Swiss System, Game/90 +30 bonus
Rounds
Saturday 10:00am, 2:30pm, 7:00pm; Sunday 10:00am, 3:00pm
Onsite Registration
Saturday 8:30-9:30am. USCF and MSCA membership required.
