Unrated and FIDE Rated Players: Players who are published as US Chess Unrated (even those with a provisional rating) should play in the Unrated section. If you feel your provisional rating should place you in a higher section, please notify the tournament directors. US unrated who possess FIDE ratings MUST disclose their FIDE rating to the tournament directors and will be placed with a converted US Chess rating using the formula US = FIDE + 100. Failure to disclose one's FIDE rating will result in an immediate ejection from the event and entry fees may not be refunded.
Forfeit time: A player who has not shown up to their game 30 minutes after the tournament directors start the round will receive a forfeit loss.
