Entry Fee:
U1300 Section = $40 on-line by December 31
U1800 Section = $50 on-line by December 31
Open Section = $60 on-line by December 31

$10 increase to entry fee if registered on-line by January 14
$20 increase to entry fee if registered in-person by 9:30 AM on January 21

Open Section: 1st=$500, 2nd=$250, 3rd=$120, U2000 1st = $120, 2nd = $60
U1800 Section: 1st=$400, 2nd=$200, 3rd=$120, U1500 1st = $120, 2nd = $60
U1300 Section: 1st=$300, 2nd=$150, Top U1000=$120, Top UNR=$120

*Note Unrated players can only win unrated prize in U1300 Section or 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place overall in the Open Section.

Unrated players who possess FIDE ratings MUST disclose their FIDE rating to the tournament directors and will be placed with a converted US Chess rating using the formula US = FIDE + 100. Failure to disclose one's FIDE rating will result in an immediate ejection from the event and entry fees may not be refunded.

Forfeit time: A player who has not shown up to their game 30 minutes after the tournament directors start the round will receive a forfeit loss.

Note that per the MSCA Prize Distribution Policy an MSCA Membership is required in order to be paid a monetary prize from this event. Annual Membership Cost is $10 Youth, $15 Senior, $20 Regular. Memberships available on MSCA Website beginning January 1, 2023.
