All Sections Rated By The United States Chess Federation (USCF) Except Beginner

There is no elimination! All players play all rounds.

• The top 4 scorers from the same school in the same section make up the team score. Minimum 2 players.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Round one begins at 10:00AM. Rounds 2-4 will begin as soon as the previous round has finished.

• Please Bring Chess Clock if you have one. Boards & Pieces supplied.

• Entry Fee: $59.00 if received online by August 17, 2026 $69 thereafter, $79 Saturday August 22nd $85 the tournament day.

• Please register in advance if possible, to avoid the additional late fees

• Membership required: $24.00/yr for the U.S. CHESS FEDERATION (USCF) players under 18 years old, USchess.org $54 for Adults

• On-site registration: 9:00 - 9:30 AM. Late entrants may not be paired for the first round.

• In case of cancellation due to rain, players will be moved to the next Tri-State Championship Tournament
