Entrants can ‘play up’ into any section.

• TROPHIES to top 3 in all sections.

• CLASS PRIZES: Reserve: Top Under 700, Advanced: Top Under 900, Championship: Top Under 1200

• HIGH SCORER TROPHY to any player who scores 2 points and does not win a higher place trophy

• ENGRAVED CHESS MEDAL TO ALL OTHERS featuring the name and date of the tournament on the back

 

TEAM PRIZES

• Trophies to top team in each section.

• The top 2 scorers from the same school in the same section make up the team score.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Round one begins at 12:00 PM. Rounds 2-3 will begin as soon as the previous round has finished.

• Please Bring Chess Clock if you have one. Boards & Pieces supplied.

• Entry Fee: $49.00 if received online by September 16, 2026 $59 thereafter, $69 the day of the event.

• Please register in advance if possible, to avoid the additional $10 late fee

Special note to players!

Player Registration Process - Please read before starting to register for the tournament.

Step 1: Select "I Have a USCF ID" or "I Do Not Have a USCF ID."

Step 2: If you have a USCF ID, search by Name or USCF ID and select your record. Any USCF expiration alert may be ignored (or select "Update my USCF Data" if preferred). If you do not have a USCF ID, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Enter the player's details, including Name, Address and Country Details, Phone, Email, Date of Birth, and Grade. (Adult players registering for the Under 1800 section should select Grade 12.)

Step 4: After entering the Date of Birth and Grade, select an eligible section from the dropdown list. Enter any requested byes and renew your USCF membership if required.

Step 5: Select your school by searching the list using option Search and select the school. If your school is not found you can add it using the option Enter the school details manually. 

Step 6: Click "Check Out." On the next screen, select "I will continue without making an account," verify the registration details, enter any eligible discount code, and proceed to payment.

Quick Tip: Creating a user account makes future registrations much faster. Player details (including USCF ID, Date of Birth, Grade, and contact information) are saved in player profiles, so Steps 1–3 can be skipped for future registrations. A single user account can store multiple player profiles, making it especially convenient for parents registering several children from the same household.
